From beginner to intermediate level.
Learn basic chords and techniques, theory, and reading music, using folk songs, rock to jazz, and blues. No experience required. Participants must reach out to the instructor, Shoji Naito to coordinate a time that works best – firstname.lastname@example.org
All lesson times will be on Wednesdays between 5:00pm and 7:00pm (specific time determined by instructor and student).
A down payment of 1 session ($40) must be paid to Gorton prior to the first lesson. Lessons will be set up weekly and paid in full monthly.
Cancellation and makeup: Student must provide at least 24-hour notice for rescheduling the lesson and no refund.
Strongly recommend that you have access to high-speed internet. Smartphone or iPad, any laptops usually works well for Zoom lessons.
Gorton Center will take and may use photos and videos from this event for its promotional purposes. Your attendance indicates your consent to the above.
Refunds will only be given up to one week prior to the first week of class of any session. (The refund period for some classes, which require advanced reservations or purchase of materials, may be more limited.) Cancellations will incur a $5 handling fee for programs costing under $100 and a 10% handling fee for programs with fees of $100 or more. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified, and a full refund will be given.
If this class does not meet the minimum participation requirement, you will be notified of the cancellation within one week of the start date.
