Looking for Jane

Sisters Martha and Kay Clifford started performing together in 2015. Their soulful two-part harmonies evoke folk and Americana music at its best, while integrating several other genres. They have been performing at local music festivals in Chicago, Wisconsin and Ohio, mainly covering some of their favorite musicians such as Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, and Aretha Franklin. In 2018, Ryan McFadden joined them to accompany on drums and diversifying their sound.

(findingloveamongmyecho) is a local band that plays an even mix of 90s Grunge, modern alternative, and 70s classic rock covers. The band began after lead guitarist Frank Pinn and lead vocalist and songwriter Casey Hippel were piecing together a band for the 2019 Committee Representing Our Young Adults (CROYA) Battle of the Bands after a successful cover of The Who’s “Behind Blue Eyes” at the 2019 Lake Forest High School Talent Show. John Pinn was drafted as rhythm guitarist, Jackson Lepkowski as drummer, and Fiona Carroll as bassist/keyboardist/backing vocalist. They’ve played dozens of public venues including a charity known as “Rock the Gazebo for a Cure” at Lake Bluff Gazebo at which $2,000+ was raised for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Lake Forest Club, Chief’s Pub in Lake Forest, and Penny Road Pub in Barrington.
