Join the LFCO for An Evening in Vienna

The Lake Forest Civic Orchestra presents “An Evening in Vienna,” featuring favorite waltzes, dances, and other popular tunes including “Radetsky March” and “On the Beautiful Blue Danube”.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and join us for an outdoor “Ravinia” style event in the Gorton Community Center parking lot.  This year the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra celebrates its 34th year running.  It is a true community chamber orchestra bringing professional and accomplished amateur musicians together from the area.  Lake Forest Civic Orchestra has made it possible for people of all ages to use their musical talents and training throughout their lives.

  • PLEASE CHECK-IN WHEN YOU ARRIVE- find the tented check-in table on the sidewalk in front of our building when you arrive where you will receive a wristband.
  • Concessions will be for sale at the event.
  • Parking: You may park in our upper lot, across the street at the train station, and along the north side of Illinois Road.

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN, CONCERT MOVES TO THEATER, and showtime may vary slightly.  You will be contacted via email in the event of rain.

I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Gorton, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any program, event or activity that took place at Gorton.
