Virtually Gorton: Film Camp-Morning Session- via Zoom

DigiFilm Camp with Improv Playhouse

This camp will run virtually on Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26 from 10:00am- 12:00pm
For Kids Entering 4th – 8th Grades
Anyone can take a selfie or upload a silly video to YouTube, but it takes practice and skill to shoot professional looking frames and make your own short film or video. Virtual Filmmaking campers will gain knowledge in every aspect of virtual filmmaking. Our Filmmaking Camp Directors are chosen from professional ranks and some of the top filmmaking schools in the country.  They instruct our campers in important elements of pre-production, production and post-production, where our campers learn filmmaking techniques through digital technology and professional software.  Campers will be immersed in storyboarding, shot list creation, casting, shooting and digital film editing using their own gear at home!

Students will need access to:
·         Highspeed Internet Access
·         Windows, Mac, or Chromebook Computer
·         Chrome Browser
·         Webcam (most laptops have this built in)
