Destination Imagination Session 1 Tuesday, September 8

Destination Imagination Session 1

Destination Imagination

Build creative problem solving skills and STEM skills in Destination Imagination, a competitive STEM team.  Teams of 5-7 children work together to solve a complex STEM challenge and present their solutions through a self written and directed performance.  Through this collaborative experience children enhance not only their STEM skills, also teamwork, perseverance, and communication.

– Teams will be broken into age/grade groups. Grades 3-5 and Grades 6-8

– Your child’s team will be led by Noggin Builders teachers with years of experience teaching STEM and leading STEM teams.  All project materials are provided and all team registrations are included in the fee.  Your child will need to bring his/her own “classroom” supplies (ie: scissors, markers, etc)

– As long as it is deemed safe to do so, teams will meet in person (with masks, social distancing and limited shared materials); if at any time we are unable to meet in person, teams will meet at their regularly scheduled practice time via video.

Session 1:
