About Rosemary Caparelli:
Rosemary is a recently retired Family and Consumer Science High School teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Chicago State University in Home Economics/Education and a master’s degree from Saint Xavier in Education/Leadership.
During her extensive teaching career, she has shared her love for cooking with countless students from pre k to college and beyond. In the private sector, she ran her own catering company, Favor Us, specializing in wedding cakes, mini pastries, hors d’oeuvres, and bonbonniere (Italian favors).
Rosemary credits her immigrant mother as well as her strong Calabrese Italian roots for her love of Italian food. She enjoys creating new twists and adapting old family recipes. Teaching others her culinary skills is her life’s passion.
