The Chicago Comedy All-Stars is a group of the best stand-up talent the Windy City has to offer. On-stage credits include The Tonight Show, HBO, Comedy Central, The Oprah Winfrey Show, America’s Funniest People, Showtime, Stephen Colbert and WGN to name a few. Enjoy a lineup of seasoned comedians for a night of entertainment.
Rick Young: Rick is your MC for the evening. He is an accomplished actor/comedian/master of ceremonies/auctioneer who has appeared all over the country including Second City and Kingston Mines, Chicago; Pasadena Playhouse, California; Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop, Minneapolis, etc. Rick’s brand of humor deals with an interesting variety of dilemmas in every day life. Rick is co-owner of the Chicago Comedy All-Stars.
Bill Bunker has spent the last 15 years of his days working for some of the largest organizations in the world, including Ernst & Young, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. By night, however, he’s been secretly sneaking out of his house to local comedy stages, building an act that is now sought after by both clubs and corporations alike. Bill delivers an agreeable brand of clean, dry, humor with a laid back style reminiscent of comics like Tim Conway and Bob Newhart. Whether drawing on his misadventures in the business world
or life as a father of three, Bill conjures an appealing mix of sharply intelligent wit and Catch-22 absurdism. The result is a smart and funny look at a rational man trying to succeed in world where the rules are never clear and every good deed is surely punished. A hand-picked opener and writer for comedian Jim Gaffigan (Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central) on his nationwide tour, Bill has also reached the finals of many national comedy competitions. Aside from his work as a stand-up, Bill is also an accomplished writer, frequently writing comedic
material for corporate presenters as well as submitting articles chronicling his experiences on the stage.
Tim Walkoe is a veteran headliner at over 100 comedy clubs nationwide including the Comedy Stop in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Zanies, Funny Bones, Comedy Store and many more. He has also been a featured performer at the Chicago Comedy Festival for the past 4 years.
A $10,000 grand prize winner on ABC TV’s “America’s Funniest People”, Tim has appeared in a recurring role on Fox TV’s “Murder in Small Town X” as Mayor Emerson Bowden. Other television credits include A&E, HBO, Showtime, TNN, PBS, and recently Fox Sports Net Profile Awards in Los Angeles and Chicago.
A musician and improvisational actor, Tim uses these talents throughout his performances. He has appeared in concert with the likes of Kenny Loggins, Whitney Houston, and Elvis Costello. Tim is a veteran of National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered”, and created the character of “Eddie Vestoon” which can be heard on over 200 radio stations nationally. He was the #1 morning show host on WRXR in Chicago and KDWB in Minneapolis.
