Business of Acting Seminar
Do you want to learn about the business of acting? This seminar will cover everything you need to know about: getting an agent, headshots, resumes, demo reels, monologues, meeting with an agent, auditions, call backs, self-tapes, set etiquette, and more. Jeremy will answer all of your questions. The seminar is appropriate for kids of all ages and their parents.
Jeremy works with actors as a career consultant and coach. He helps actors with: shooting scenes for demo reels, putting together resumes, acting coaching, monologue preparation, agent meeting preparation, audition preparation, self-tape shooting, college audition prep, acting school audition prep, and more. Attending the seminar does not require using his services. All attendees of the seminar will receive a comprehensive overview of the business of acting whether or not they use his services in the future.
Jeremy Kruse is the author of “The Young Actor’s Handbook” (Applause Acting Series, 2017). Jeremy is a professional actor, published playwright, award-winning screenwriter, and award-winning filmmaker. He taught Method acting and comedic improvisation to actors of all ages at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. He graduated from The Strasberg Institute at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where he majored in drama. Class Refund and Cancellation Policy: Refunds will only be given up to one week prior to the first week of class of any session. (The refund period for some classes, which require advanced reservations or purchase of materials, may be more limited.) Cancellations will incur a $5 handling fee for programs costing under $100 and a 10% handling fee for programs with fees of $100 or more. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified, and a full refund will be given.
If this class does not meet the minimum participation requirement, you will be notified of the cancellation within one week of the start date.

On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Gorton, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Gorton, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Gorton program, event or activity.
