“Back to Our Future”

Lake Forest Civic Orchestra is partnering with Lake Forest High School and the Midwest
Young Artists Conservatory youth artists to bring our community youth artists to Lake
Forest’s John and Nancy Hughes Theater at the Gorton Community Center for this
special concert of solos. The concert opens with Mikhal Glinka’s Overture to Ruslan and
Lyudmila. The remaining program features two current Lake Forest High School
seniors (Kaleb Whiteside – Concerto for Violin in E minor, Op. 64 1st Mvt.
(Mendelssohn) and Sydney Rubenstein – Romanze, Op. 85, for Viola and Orchestra
(Bruch), 2020 Lake Forest High School graduate Grace Mockus – Concerto for Cello in
E minor, Op. 85 4th Mvt.(Elgar) and the 2020 Midwest Youth Artists
Conservatory/Walgreen Concerto Competition winner Sebastian Ingino – Piano
Concerto in A minor, Op. 16 (Grieg)).
This will be a concert to remember for a lifetime not only by our soloists but all our
supporters. Let’s get “Back to Our Future” and bring the music back to Lake Forest.

On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Gorton, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Gorton, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Gorton program, event or activity.
