Gorton CenterThis exciting art camp is perfect for young creators who love to make functional, one-of-a-kind pieces! Throughout the week, campers will explore a variety of artistic techniques and craft their own useful creations that can be enjoyed every day.
From weaving beautiful tapestries to designing personalized wall hangings, each project will allow campers to bring their artistic vision to life. They’ll also have the chance to craft wind chimes that sing with the breeze, paint coasters for the perfect tabletop accent, and even make a handmade book filled with creativity. For a touch of nature, they’ll create a vase with permanent flowers, allowing them to bring a bit of floral beauty into their homes that lasts forever.
In addition to these fun projects, campers will learn the art of repurposing materials, transforming everyday objects into creative masterpieces. Through these hands-on experiences, they’ll discover how to think outside the box and find new ways to give materials a second life, while making functional art that is both beautiful and practical.
Periwinkle Art Studio invites kids to join this fun and inspiring camp, where creativity flows, skills are learned, and campers walk away with a set of handmade treasures they can proudly display or use. Whether your child is a seasoned artist or just starting to explore their creative side, this camp promises to provide a nurturing, hands-on environment for artistic growth and self-expression.
