Healthy Living and Eating with Marina
Healthy Living/Healthy Eating
Do you feel you don’t have time to cook or eat a healthy meal? Are you overwhelmed just by the idea of a healthy week meal planning? Do you end up buying pre-packaged foods or visiting too many drive thrus? Come to this workshop with Marina Boldrini Rivelis of Taste of Real Food and you will go home with the tools and more information to organize, plan and make delicious, quick and easy weeknight meals! Information, recipes and weekly meal ideas will be provided.
Your ticket includes: Two beef or veggie empanadas (turnovers) and one glass of Malbec wine!
- Let’s have a conversation about staple products we buy while grocery shopping. Learn to read labels and compare nutritional facts and ingredients. We will read labels together and compare products (E.g. tomato sauce, bread, bread crumbs, beef and chicken, eggs, butter, dressings, stocks/broth, cheese, miso and fermented foods, pasta, olive oil and balsamic vinegar).
- I will share and show how to make some simple recipes that are super fast and can be made ahead of time. Learn to put together a nutritious meal in less than 30 minutes from “chopping to table.” This will be demonstrated.
