Summer Internship
Gorton has openings for high school and college summer interns for 2023! Our interns receive a $500 stipend for their summer and Gorton is willing help provide information for class credits if needed.
Internships are on average 15 hours a week, can be 10 to 20 hours.

Safety Town Intern
Events Intern
Summer Musical Theater Camp Intern
Design/Marketing Intern
Video Content Intern
Theater Production Intern
Gorton provides an opportunity to:
Gain experience in all aspects of work in a non-profit setting
Experience hands on work
Practice teamwork and partnering in a collaborative environment
Gain experience in office work, administrative tasks, computer work, creative computer design, ticketing systems, and learning how to run an event from concept to completion
Requirements:
Organized
Strong computer skills
Positive, outgoing, articulate and detail oriented
Flexible-will tackle everything from small tasks to larger, more strategic projects with equal enthusiasm
Takes initiative
Likes being part of a team
Quick learner
