The Community Church of Lake Forest & Lake Bluff

10 am - Church Service in the John and Nancy Hughes Theater
11 am - Coffee and Fellowship
The Community Church of Lake Forest & Lake Bluff is a service-minded faith community of over 400 families, welcoming people of all religious and non-religious backgrounds alike.
What began as a community worship hour for a few people on Saturday afternoons 25 years ago has become a thriving spiritual community of faith, hope, and love.
The church’s independent and entrepreneurial approach to spirituality and faith creates a warm and welcoming environment for those seeking solace and motivation on Sundays.
Services at Gorton
Church services at Gorton, led by Rev. Sean Miller, take place in the John and Nancy Hughes Theater at 10:00 am on Sundays between the October - May season. Services feature vibrant music from the Chicago area’s finest musicians, with a variety of musical genres including blues, bluegrass, soul, jazz, and more, followed by coffee hour in the Solarium.
Children’s Programming
The church offers a non-traditional Sunday school program called Roots and Wings (grades 1-5) and Little Sprouts (preschool - kindergarten).
The church does not require official membership to participate and is always seeking to inspire service locally, nationally, and across the world.
All are welcome! Come as you are!
