The Red Rose has perhaps the widest variety of traditional jazz sound of any band in America. Its menu includes everything from classic compositions by Jelly Roll Morton to rags by Scott Joplin to hot tunes by Bix Beiderbecke and Lu Watters. The Red Rose resurrects the classic period of the first three decades of the twentieth century, and also includes a balanced cross section of the American musical heritage of ragtime, blues, jazz and popular material.
