Evening/Weekend Hospitality Coordinator

10-20 hours a week depending on schedule

Hours would be after 5pm M-F and Saturday and Sunday.
Schedule would be known a couple of weeks in advance.

Duties:

Greet renters, patrons and public and be main point of contact for outside events, acting as the face of Gorton, knowledgeable about building information and able to help them when they are on site.
Assist clients with unanticipated need and be available for them
Assist in preparing concession area (ice down coolers, set up bar, popcorn, concessions) as well as clean-up after event
Help work Gorton events by taking tickets, working concessions or greeting patrons
Assist porters with set-up of rooms and A/V requirements when necessary
Assist porters with take-down and clean-up of rooms and A/V equipment when necessary

Skills:

Personable, outgoing personality
Able to work a/v and other technical equipment
Able to work well with Porter Staff and Gorton Event Staff
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Requirements:

1-3 years event related or facilities experience
HS diploma
Ability to pass a background check
Must be 21 years-of-age
